Welcome
TIMES ARE TOUGH at the moment and we all have our issues, but if you're really struggling and finding it hard to cope, please don't give up hope. Admitting you need a bit of extra help can be difficult, but should you have the courage to reach out, I promise you'll be welcomed in to a warm, strictly confidential, judgement-free zone.

If you want to do in-person counselling sessions, you'll find a warm welcome at my garden therapy room in Oundle, which is within easy reach of Stamford, Corby and Peterborough. I also offer remote sessions via video or phone – whatever works best for you.

I have a particular interest in neurodiverse conditions, such as AD(H)D, ASD and bipolar disorder, as well as trauma-related issues, whether it's a recent experience or historical. I have also worked with many clients facing difficulties around gender identity and sexual orientation, and welcome anyone from the LGBQT+ community.

Depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviours, phobias and life-events, such as divorce, relationships, losing a friend or relative, redundancy and ill-health are among a raft of challenges in life that can be difficult to cope with.
Should you want, another member of the team – namely Sam, my beautiful, gentle, rescue dog – can join us. So, give me a call, drop me an email or use the contact form at the bottom of the page to arrange an initial, free, no-obligation chat to discuss how I might be able to help.

My approach
AS AN INTEGRATIVE counsellor, I have what might be described as a therapeutic 'toolbox', which I can draw on to create a way of working that suits you, as a unique individual, and addresses your concerns and issues.
As the client, you are at the centre of the therapy, so you're always in the driving seat. Should we take a wrong turn, we'll work together to get us back on the right track. It's not my job to advise or tell you what to do, but help you navigate the choppy waters life throws at all of us.
I passionately believe we all have an innate drive to be all we can be, so we'll work towards reigniting that motivation to be the best you, you can be.
My practice is also very much informed by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which is based on the idea we should not seek to hide our wounds and imperfections, but rather we should celebrate them as part of our self and as a new you that might be even better than what has gone before.
